Schooling
As from the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, all children are obliged to enter school when they have reached the age of four, the reference date being 31 July (in 2012). The duration of compulsory schooling is set at eleven years, split between a primary stage of eight years, including kindergarten, and a secondary stage of three years.
